This Light, electronic music producer

I am a Canadian musician based in Toronto, Canada. Active since 2009, I initially focused on psytrance, my work presenting an experimental fusion of metal and electronic sounds. I started composing and producing psytrance, with inspiration from artists like Skazi and GMS. That was a natural choice: I really like electronic music but his favourite genre is heavy metal. Favourite metal bands? Kamelot, Queensrÿche and Helloween.

I then decided to compose a few other songs with different patterns, some of them using guitars, some pure electronic, and some using alternative vocals tracks, like speech or simple vocalizations with no lyrics.

Now with a pack of 10 songs, I had an album! I published these songs on last.fm, and the album was released under the title ‘This Light’.

In 2019, London-based Miami Sundown Records released the EP The Abyss worldwide. Miami Sundown described the release as “a conceptual EP in the form of an electronica experimental six tracks package. Beatless sounds, majestic chords and uplifting synths uncover the great talent and productive skills of ‘This Light’.”

In the same year, the Russian label Neostatic Sounds, a brand under Exia Recordings, released the EP N3 / Vault 501.

Also in 2019, the single ReState Records released Underground, another Exia Recordings sub-label.

In December of 2019, the Romanian label Quanticman Records released the single Paradiso worldwide.

In 2019, I self-released my legacy catalogue on the main online platforms and also published new material. In that same year, I started acting as a music influencer, blogger and playlister.

Since then, I released tens of tracks and I hope you will enjoy my work.
