This Light is a free Spotify playlist submission system for independent and emerging artists. There are no fees, no premium tiers, and no payola. Any artist from any country can submit any song in any language.
How the submission works
To submit your music, you log in with your Spotify account. This is required so the system can automatically add the playlists, artists, and tracks listed below directly to your Spotify library — no manual searching needed.
I do not store any personal data in my database. Because of this, you will not receive a confirmation email when your submission is approved or declined. Check the playlists you applied to within 24 hours to see if your track was added.
After submitting, your browser will redirect to the homepage. That’s it — the whole process takes under a minute.
What happens after approval
- Your track will be featured in the playlist for 14 days
- I may add your track to a playlist you didn’t apply for, if I think it’s a better fit
- There are no follow-up emails — check your Spotify library directly
Most free Spotify playlist submission platforms either limit how many submissions you can make, require you to create an account, or collect and store your personal information. This Light does none of those things.
